SiteAid Information Page
Our Purpose...
Since entering the Freeware Market several years ago, our clear and communicated desire was to reach the shareware market as an exceptional HTML editor. Through the dedicated loyalty of thousands and thousands of registered freeware users, we have collected information for the SiteAid version you see today. Records were kept, comments noted and a lot of sweat spent over this new release. It's an under statement to say that we really appreciate our freeware user's comments and suggestions. Without them, we would have had no avenue to discover what's REALLY important to the web authoring community. We have tried to add the most requested items!
It is not our goal to make software with the most bells and whistles. That has already been done... It is our goal to make software with the most intuitive and useful features! We feel we have come very close to this, although we are still open to input from our users. Have a look at what we've added to our shareware version below, and please consider downloading the program! We hope you like what you see and that you might find the feature you recommended!

What Was New For SiteAid Version 2.2...
- The major highlight of this release is the addition of a new HTML Validator! This will allow authors to check their HTML markup for errors that would prevent them from being viewed properly. It also allows a method for not only checking your mark-up to the doctype you have specified, but it also allows you to use the layout options in the "Preferences" of this feature to affect the way your HTML is layed out in the editor. We feel that this is a vital addition that most companies would have bumped a revision level for, charging their customers more. Amiasoft is adding this option as a part of this maintainence release. We appreciate your patronage and hope you enjoy using this new feature!

Menu). Inside of the instructions for this action, select SiteAid to be the "Application used to perform action" and follow it with a "%1". An example would look like: "C:\Program Files\SiteAid Version 2\SiteAid.exe" "%1". If it is made to be the default action, SiteAid will open upon a double click of the appropriate file type. If it is not the default action, you can get to this action by right-clicking the file you wish to work with and selecting the Edit option.
